At 07:08 Stations 67, 59, 51, 102 and 131 along with EMS was dispatched to Walker Road in the Township for a Vehicle Fire endangering a house. Chief 67 arrived on scene to find a working truck fire about 20 feet from a structure and about 10ft from another vehicle. The Chief used a fire extinguisher and knock majority of the fire in the engine compartment down along with some of the extention into the passenger compartment. Engine 67-2  arrived on scene and pulled a 1 3/4 cafs line and knocked the rest of the fire down. Chief 67 then placed the assignment back into service with the exception of Engine 67-2, Brush 67 and Tanker 102. Units operated for just over an hour before returning to service.

Later on that day at 15:17, Station 67 was dispatched again into Saltsburg, Indiana County to assist Station 131 on a Structure Fire. Engine 67-2 arrived on scene and was told to return to service since the fire was out. Units from 67 were out of service for about 30 minutes.
